The Spa at Castlemartyr Resort in Cork will be transformed into a magical winter wonderland for a casual and informative evening with ESPA on Tuesday.
Beginning with a mulled wine reception, there will be a complimentary 20-minute facial for guests on arrival (prior booking is essential) Jane Lewis, senior ESPA consultant will also be on hand throughout the evening to provide expert advice and will be giving a talk on health and lifestyle.

Get your Christmas off to a glowing start this year at Glow, A Cork Christmas Celebration, which opens this Friday.
This is a free family friendly wonderland in Bishop Lucey Park, on the Grand Parade which will see the park transformed into Santa’s Workshop and children can watch elves working and playing, enjoy the interactive and live toys on display, post their letters and watch the North Pole express toy train.
The Santa’s Workshop themed park, created by SPRAOI, will open from 4pm-8pm Friday to Sunday for the duration of the festival and the walkthrough takes approximately 20 minutes.

The Irish Cancer Society is working with the National Cancer Control Programme to develop the first Skin Cancer Prevention Action Plan for Ireland.
The aim of the research is to find out what the various sectors are doing in relation to skin cancer prevention and to establish what could be done to engage them on this issue.
The survey will take the user approximately 10 minutes to complete and will be live until Friday.

The Disney Store is encouraging families to participate in its ‘From Our Family to Yours’ campaign, which is supporting Children in Hospital Ireland.
The campaign invites families to take a festive photo in the Disney Store or dig out a classic from the family photo album and share it through Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #DisneyStoreFamily.
Each family will be entered into a competition to win a trip to New York, including a private shopping spree at the Disney Store in Times Square.
For every photo shared, a soft toy will be donated to a child through Disney Store’s chosen national charities,
