VIDEO: Another ‘new’ teaser from ‘The Force Awakens’ has arrived with some very important added footage

Earlier this week we brought you the first TV-spot (of which we are guessing there will be thousands) for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
VIDEO: Another ‘new’ teaser from ‘The Force Awakens’ has arrived with some very important added footage

Well hold onto your hats folks because another one arrived last night.

At this stage we have had so many teasers we could put together our own movie, but in typical JJ Abrams fashion the 60 second trailer is only filled with about 10 seconds of new footage.

But this is more than enough to keep us excited.

The trailer as you may have seen doesn’t really add anything to what we already know about the movie but it does give us little snippets that keep us guessing.

First major clip is everyone’s favourite ‘stuck up, half wit, scruffy looking, nerf herder’ Han Solo handing Rey what looks like a blaster as they seem to be surrounded by stormtroopers.

What this does give us however is a great action shot of the main cast members battling it out.

A great shot of Finn fighting a stormtrooper with a lightsaber is quickly followed once again by Han and Chewie trying to get themselves out of a jam.

“Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.”

One tiny clip that we thought was very interesting is the one in the picture below.

It’s nothing more than a back shot of General Organa (formerly Princess Leia) but it shows us more than you would think.

Another look at C3PO and Han in the same room as Leia but also, could that be Admiral Ackbar on the far right of the shot?

UPDATE

It is in fact Admiral Ackbar.

The Force Awakens’ IMDB page confirms that Tim Rose will be reprising his role as the Admiral of the Rebellion (now called the resistance) fleet.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens hyperspace jumps into cinemas December 18.
