Meet ex-Garda Joe Connolly. He moved to Australia to work as a police officer, but he had to leave his best friend, Riggs, at home in Tallaght.

Riggs, however, has now made the long journey to Oz to be with Joe.

After a lengthy trip from Dublin to Perth, and a long ten days spent in quarantine, this is the heartwarming moment Riggs and Joe were reunited down under.

It’s not the first time Joe and Riggs have enjoyed a lovely on-screen reunion recently. In last week’s episode, Joe surprised his mammy with a visit home.

She was delighted to see him - but Riggs was ecstatic!

Joe was home to organise Riggs’ emigration - which cost a staggering €6,000.
