A documentary film on the growing homelessness crisis in Ireland has been accepted in to this years Cork Indie film festival.

’Homelessness: A Crisis Beyond Crisis’ was directed and produced by Cork film maker and journalist, Micheal O’Mahony, and was highlighted first on irishexaminer.com.

In July 2015, 77 families became homeless in Ireland. 155 were children. 70 of these families never experienced homelessness before and speaking about why he made the documentary, Micheal said he could not stand by as a third world problem unfolds in Ireland.
