The Grammy winner told the BBC how he got the gig. He said that he called into the office with the producer and director and they gave him the script.

They said to have a go at the song and Sam wrote the song in the quickest time he has ever written a song, taking him just twenty minutes.

He co-wrote the song called ‘Writings on the Wall’ with Jimmy Napes, his partner on ‘Stay With Me’ and other hits.

The song was recorded back in January on Abbey Road where Adele recorded the Oscar winning Skyfall theme.

The song will be released on September 25th and the movie comes out November 6th.
