VIDEO: Behind-the-scenes of Hozier's Take Me To Church video in Cork

The music video was filmed at Inniscarra Dam and follows the same-sex relationship between two men, and their struggles when homophobic violence comes into their lives.
The behind-the-scenes video, released by Damien Murphy of Limbo Media, is a lot less serious. It shows the cast joking with each other on day three of the shoot, even when filming some of the darker scenes.
Hozier himself even makes an appearance.
The actors, whose voices aren’t heard in the music video, chat about techniques, are seen playing around with props, and ask the all important question: what
in the box?It turns out no one knows what the gang were obsessing over in the dark scenes.
However, director Brendan Canty has promised that all will be revealed on the VMA stage if the video wins big in LA tonight.
If we win we’re going to bring the box on stage and reveal the mystery once and for all @Hozier @ConThomson

Best of luck to @brendan_canty and @ConThomson in the #MTVVMAs with the nomination of TMTC music video. Sorry I can't be there! Enjoy
