VIDEO: Miami couple get married underwater

A couple in Miami well and truly took the plunge and got married on Tuesday, choosing their wedding venue to be underwater off Key Largo.

The couple chose the day and sight because it was the 50th anniversary of the instillation of an iconic underwater statue called the Christ of the Deep.

The pair wed beside the statue which sits at about 25 feet below the surface. The ceremony was officiated using a special underwater slate with their vows on it and a special camera link made it possible for their friends to witness the couple's big day.
