VIDEO: Fathers react to video of their daughters being catcalled

A few weeks ago, a video surfaced of men reacting to their girlfriends being catcalled while walking down the street.

A similar video has since come out of fathers reacting to their daughters being treated in the same way.

Needless to say they aren’t impressed.

You can see the first father, Joe, getting more shocked and angry at what the people were saying to his daughter, Megan.

The second father, Richard, points out that it’s summertime - "animals are out".

Somehow we don’t think any women will accept the weather as an excuse to being harassed.

The last woman Daniella, was followed down a street for over three minutes, with a man trying to get her to take his phone number. All this despite her showing no interest in the man and telling him she was married.

Unsurprisingly, her father was not impressed.

When asked what would have happened if he had been there, Meir repleys "I think there would be a fist fight."

The video also shares a statistic from Cornell University that 96% of American women 40 years old and younger experienced street harassment in the past year.

Which is a far higher percentage than you would expect in 2015.
