People are sharing their Leaving Cert memories and advice on Twitter
The poor dears.
Elsewhere on Twitter, us oldies have been sharing our LC memories and advice for the benefit of those getting their results today. But, to be honest, it’s unlikely they’re taking any of it in due to results tunnel vision.
Still though, nice for the rest of us to get all nostalgic and we’re all practivally giddy with relief that we never have to go through it again.
Doesn’t it seem like ages ago? And like yesterday, at the same time.
Best of luck every getting their results! You'll be grand! #LeavingCert

I remember needing 490 points to get into Trinity. Sick and scared. But doing it. Best of luck everyone #LeavingCert

#LeavingCert Whether you get 6 A1s or 6 D3's or fail the Lot. Take comfort in never having to remember how an oxbow lake was formed. 😉😉😉

If I had a magic wand I'd ensure #LeavingCert students knew results aren't make or break, that life has many twists, turns & opportunities

I'd like to wish all our politicians the best of luck wishing all the #LeavingCert students well with their results tomorrow. :)

While it might not seem important now, at the time it was the most daunting thing we had faced.
So good luck to everybody and we hope you’re ’happy enough’.
(And whatever happens, it really will all work out in the end.)
