After the recent debacles with Conor McGregor and Paul Dunne, Tayto crisps have become the latest thing from our shores to be claimed as British.

Redditor McRophage came across the scene below in Coles supermarket in Australia and must have been horrified to see the crisps that originate from Co Meath in the British food section.

Of all things to be wrongly claimed not to be from Ireland, this may be the worst of the lot.

What else are you supposed to eat with a Dairy Milk bar while complaining about the Irish weather?
