VIDEO: See Noel Gallagher reminisce about scoring a point in Croke Park

Noel Gallagher got a little nostalgic when he visited Cork to perform at Live at the Marquee last week.

In an interview with Irish Examiner reporter Joe Dermody, Gallagher waxed lyrical about his time spent playing GAA with a local Manchester team.

"I was in a Gaelic football team in Manchester, it was fucking great and all."

He even scored a point in GAA heaven: Croke Park.

"I did play [in Croke park], yeah," he says. "There's a picture of me somewhere scoring a point.

"I've seen the picture, but I havent seen it for years. I know it exists."

We think this photo from 1983 is the one he's thinking of. That's a young Noel Gallagher to the right of the goalkeeper in the back row during the team's trip to Croke Park.
