A retired postman has become the oldest person in Ireland to buy a brand new SEAT car.

SEAT’s most veteran customer in Ireland admits that even when he has nowhere specific to go, he sometimes drives just for the heck of it.

“I really enjoy driving,” says 94-year-old Michael Kearns with a smile.

The retired postman has no intention of giving up his trips to the beach, visiting family or attending church in his hometown of Killeigh, Co Offaly.

For those reasons, he has bought himself a SEAT Mii, which gives him the freedom of movement he craves.
