VIDEO: Viral video gives this homeless man a second chance in life

The video shows the ex-Marine playing Come Sail Away by Styx. It has been viewed more than 7.5 million times since it was posted to YouTube a week ago.
Donald, who is also known as Boone, has been homeless on and off for the past seven years. Although the video may not show it he can play more than just the piano. “I went into the Marine Corps, played clarinet, went all over the world.
I was in a symphonic band. But like I said, after the Marine Corps, I took a couple years off; had to go to work somewhere,” Donald said.
“But then I decided to go back to college, so I learned how to play every instrument, from the piccolo down to the tuba.”
A fundraising page was also set up for Donald following the video and it has already raised more than $35,000 for his future already. Spring Arbor University is also offering him a full scholarship to help him finish his degree in music theory.
If that wasn't enough, 'Inside Edition' also gave Donald a full makeover including new clothes and his first haircut and shave in 18 months.

He has since even played a gig at Sarasota restaurant.
“Before, they looked at me with the scruffy face, they’re like, 'Who is the raggedy homeless-looking man?’ But here, I just walk in like a pro. And no flak whatsoever,” Donald told 'Inside Edition' after the performance.
Donald is now hoping the publicity will help him get a reunion with his son, who he has not seen in 15 years. "After this, now maybe he'll get in touch with me," he said.
