WATCH: This baby elephant was too tired to walk so the whole herd urged him on

Anyone who’s been around toddlers knows that sometimes their little legs get tired of walking and they just need to stop and ret - even if that means lying in the middle of the road.

Sometimes , they are genuinely tired but a lot of the time, they're just feeling a little lazy and all that's needed is a little cajoling and encouragement to get them back on their feet.

Which is what happened to this baby elephant

The calf flops to the ground in the middle of the road and doesn't get back up - either because he won't or he can't. So the entire herd rallies around, encouraging him to get up and carry on.

And he does.

Elephants are the best.
