This puppy and kitten are best friends and the world is a better place for it

Meet Ruggles (puppy) and Chompers (kitten).

They are the best of friends and come with amazing stories.

Shih-tzu Ruggles was rescued from a puppy mill last year after a police raid while his friend Chompers was found under a porch when she was just two days old.

Needless to say, they became the best of friends.

The two buddies were adopted by loving families and placed in their forever homes.

Ruggles is the official ambassador for the Cherokee County Animal Shelter, which rescued him when he was little.

He travels from school to school with workers from the shelter to help teach kids about puppy mills and the importance of animal shelters.

The only sad part of this story is that Ruggles and Compers could not be homed together.

Chompers grew a bit too big for her puppy friend and it was decided that they should go their seperate ways for the good of Ruggles health.

It must have been heart breaking seperating these two.
