Remember little Roisín Smith from Galway?

Last week, we covered the four-year-old and her pledge to donate her hair to a wig-making charity in honour of her friend Lucy who is suffering from cancer.

It was a lovely heart-warming story and we all couldn't wait to see her new look.

And here she is! Doesn't she look adorable?

Róisín after her haircut!

Róisín went to Leah Kelly Hair Design in Gort on Saturday to get the chop and her mam Caroline sent us these photos and a video showing how it went down.

Amazingly, Róisin has raised almost €4,000 for the Little Princess Trust - a charity that make wigs for children with cancer and other illnesses that cause hairloss - and they are still accepting donations here.

Well done to Róisín and her family!
