The broadcaster - who has been anchoring the Six One News for ten years - wore a leather jacket with multiple zips and people have jumped to the conclusion that last night's Six One news took on a Fifty Shades Of Grey theme.

One clever tweeter even named the outfit #50shadesofnuacht.
