The film reveals Sexton's confidence as a young player and shows how he developed the cool head to deal with pressurised situations on the pitch.

It features interviews with Johnny's godfather, Billy Keane (son of John B. Keane) in Co. Kerry, his schoolboy rugby coach and, of course, his one time rival and now trainer Ronan O'Gara.

"Johnny is an exceptional out half. He prepares really well, he doesn't leave anything to chance on a Saturday. I also think there’s more in the tank, I think we'll see him in the next two to three years hit a new level," said O' Gara.

Sexton said the documentary, entitled #AllItTakes, allowed him to take stock of his busy career so far.

“I have barely had a second to look back and reflect on my career to date, but the #AllitTakes mini-documentary was the perfect opportunity to do just that. Some of the most important people in my life, and on this journey, appear in the film and it’s nice for them to also be recognised for their contribution.”

The documentary is available to watch below.
