VIDEO: Wexford groom blown away by bride’s flash mob surprise

Wexford couple Dick O’Sullivan and Lynda Walsh got married last Saturday and Lynda had a huge surprise in store for her new husband.

Last November, Lynda gathered a large group of Dick's friends to plan a special secret performance at the upcoming nuptials.

The guys took up the challenge like champions and started painstakingly working on their flash mob with the Sheila Grace Dance Company in Wexford.

Sneaking off in secret to practice, the guys spent months getting their performance right on point.

All their hard work was worth it when they sprung it on a shocked Dick at the wedding - in the Ferrycarrig hotel, Wexford - last weekend.

Despite a couple of missed turns (possibly over the alcohol consumed to settle the nerves), the performance was an overall smash hit.

Niall Harney caught it all on his camera phone and he told breakingnews.ie that the guests didn't see it coming.

"I only knew it was coming because the guys tipped me off that morning, but a lot of the guests were like 'what the hell is happening'," said Niall.

"I got myself in the perfect position before it happened and some of the guys were pointing at me mouthing not to film it!"

Lynda managed to throw guests off the scent by having the Sheila Grace Dance Company perform at the reception first and then have the guys run in as soon as they had finished.

"No one expected it. They were all shocked," added Niall.

Niall confirmed Dick had no clue this was going to happen and was visually moved by the dedication the guys put into his wedding gift.

The couple have been together for more than 17 years and jet off on their honeymoon on Thursday.

Brilliant work guys and we hope Dick and Lynda are very happy together!
