’Sit down Mourinho’ - The Stretford End will love Victor Valdes

One of the most popular chants at Old Trafford when Manchester United are playing Chelsea is ’Sit down Mourinho’ and new signing Victor Valdes seems to share the sentiment.

He might not get many minutes on the pitch for United until - if speculation is to be believed - current number one goalkeeper David de Gea ups sticks to Real Madrid.

However, if United want to get value for money from their new Catalan stopper, they could also employ him as crowd control.

This brilliant clip from the second-leg of the 2010 Champions League semi-final at the Nou Camp shows Valdes grappling to prevent Jose Mourinho from celebrating with the Inter Milan fans after the Italian side - then coached by the Portuguese - knocked Barcelona out.

Mourinho managed to break loose and Inter went on to win the trophy but the clip is bound to endear Valdes to United fans who love nothing more than taking the mickey out of the 'Special One'.

Oh, and did we mention he also turned down a move to Liverpool!
