David Moyes was a critically acclaimed coach by all after 11 years of decent work at Everton, a club with very limited resources.

However, it all went wrong when he finally got a shot at the big-time with Manchester United

He broke all sorts of records, but the wrong kind. Clubs like Newcastle United, West Bromwich Albion and indeed, Everton, got their first wins at Old Trafford in years while Moyes' record against the top five clubs in the Premier League was woeful.

He's a manager that polarised supporters on the red side of Manchester with his most fervent supporters being matched by equally harsh critics.

His failure to lead United into the Champions League for the first time in two decades proved too much for a club laden with success and the axe fell on the Glasgow born manager less than one year into a six-year contract.

Now after six months out of work, Moyes is back in the hot seat this time in La Liga with Real Sociedad, a club in a similiar situation to Everton when he took over there over a decade ago - they have little money and are struggling for form.

Naturally, opinion was divided on Twitter as to how he'll do in San Sebastian.
