Doctor Who enters a new dimension

The world of Doctor Who has had a Minecraft makeover.

Microsoft Studios, Mojang and the BBC have joined forces to bring the Time Lord, assistant Clara Oswald, The Tardis and even the Daleks into the Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.

From September players will be able to download the first Doctor Who add-on, allowing fans to make themselves look like the new Doctor or Clara.

Also included in the game – which allows users to build their own worlds – are five other currently unnamed Doctors and their companions, along with bad guys like Ice Warriors and Zygons.

The first downloadable skin pack will cost £1.99 and BBC Worldwide promise more will follow.
