Lots to interest antique buyers

A range of Irish antique furniture is on offer at Hegarty’s sale in Bandon next Tuesday, (Sep 17), at 7pm.

The items on offer include an early 18th century fully fitted Georgian wine cooler, (€2,000-€4,000), a Regency fold over card table, (€2,000-€4,000), and a c1860 longcase clock, (€2,000-€4,000).

The sale will feature around 250 lots of which there is a bronze sculpture of a seated figure by James McCarthy (€3,500-€4,500). Irish 18th and 19th century glass includes a hobnail Cork decanter, a strawberry cut water jug and three sets of early 19th century wine glasses with estimates from €300 to €800.
