Web watch: Visual Landscapes

I guess it depends what it is you desire, but there’s bound to be something to tickle your fancy on this site. A “highly curated collection”, it’s got stuff sourced from the most unlikeliest of places, like museum stores and independent boutiques. They also like to share the artists’ stories and philosophies. Or alternatively, you can just look at the pretty stuff. Your call.

2. Cora Murphy Bogs. Beaches. The Baja desert. These are things that inspire artist Cora Murphy. Based opposite the English Market in Cork City, she’s a visual artist and painter who’s worth clicking on to. There’s a great video on how she works on the site and she’s also got a book called Visual Landscapes. Plus, the busy bee is hosting a one-off sale of 100 original paintings at €150, and €50 from each sale will go to the Saint Vincent de Paul. Check it out.
