With the Summer Olympics in Paris next August, it got me thinking about how we all can effectively plan for a super 2024. Most people have heard of S.M.A.R.T goals: specific; measurable; achievable; relevant; and time-bound.
This week I am adding on the 4 Ps to help you plan out your goal.
Try to positively frame your thoughts. Instead of ‘I’m so bad at that’ take a moment to reframe it ‘I can definitely improve that’.
Thinking about your why can really help to motivate you keep in mind that nutrition, fitness, mental health, work together when it comes to your overall wellbeing.
Smoked Mackerel Pâté
This recipe will serve four as a starter

100g smoked mackerel fillet, skin removed, flaked
100g cream cheese or cottage cheese
1 tbsp horseradish sauce
1 tbsp chopped chives
zest and juice of 1 lemon
salt & pepper
Method
Place the mackerel, cream cheese and horseradish sauce in a large bowl and usea fork to mix well.
Add the chives, lemon zest & juice and mix until thoroughly combined. Season to taste and serve.
