Coming up for sale by online auction on in mid-December (with the date yet to be finalised) is a 63-acre farm in North Tipperary that offers a package of good land with good outbuildings.
The property in question is at Glentane, just under 2km to the southeast of the village of Templederry, 17km from Nenagh and 8km from Borrisoleigh.
“It’s a well-located parcel of land,” says selling agent Eoin Dillon of Nenagh-based REA Eoin Dillon. “The land is good and it boasts an extensive farmyard.”
The impressive array of outbuildings coming with the property includes a 6-bay slatted suckler cow shed with two calving pens and four straw bedded lie-back pens for calves, a covered extra-wide feed passage, a 4-be slatted shed with two bays of concrete cubicles and covered cattle crush, a 3-bay haybarn/machinery shed, a 2-bay haybarn with lean-to structure, a meal silo and a concrete yard.
“These good quality lands are all in one block,” adds Eoin, “and divided into easily managed fields and paddocks with central farm roadways.”
There is good public road access and the farm has a private well and an electricity connection.
With demand for land in this part of Tipperary on the increase in recent years, prices have been creeping up steadily. While it isn’t the kind of highly sought-after zone that South Tipperary is, there is good land here and all good land is in strong demand these days.
The price guide is €675,000. At €10,700/acre, it’s an attractive agricultural proposition.
