Coming up for auction (as well as a simultaneous online auction) at the Talbot Hotel in Wexford on Thursday, 6th of August next is a 56.8-acre tillage holding at Dungeer, Taghmon.

Located just 13km west of Wexford and straddling the N25, this top-class parcel of land may be sold in lots or as a whole on the day.

According to selling agent John Radford of Sherry Fitzgerald Radford, there is likely to be strong interest in this farm, which enjoys such unparalleled access, adding to its excellent quality.

“These are prime agricultural lands,” emphasises John. “They have direct access to a national primary road and are suitable for any type of farming use. The lands here are exceptional and there’s no waste – all just 20 minutes from Wexford town and 15 minutes from New Ross.

“There’s a nice clean crop of barley on it at the moment and it’s leased until the end of 2028… we’d imagine that there’ll be a good bit of interest from a variety of different farmers – be it tillage farmers, dairy farmers or someone looking for extra land.”
