Tipp land guiding €9,700/acre in September auction

While there is certain to be keen interest in the farm, only the auction itself will determine whether it sells in lots or as a whole.

Coming up for public auction on Wednesday 23rd of September next is a 61.7-acre farm at Ballinderry, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.

Located approximately 5km from the pretty lakeside village of Terryglass, this farm is likely to be in strong demand. Its auction has been well flagged locally and the holding has been well farmed by the owner over the years.

“This land is of reasonably good quality overall,” says selling agent Eoin Dillon of REA Eoin Dillon in Nenagh. There’s road frontage onto 3 different roads, giving great access.

It will be interesting to see how the property sells. While there is certain to be keen interest in the farm, only the auction itself will determine whether it sells in lots or as a whole.

The property is being presented in lots. Lot 1 consists of 41 acres. It is a mixture of good quality grazing and silage lands with road frontage, a cattle rush and mains water. The AMV is €400,000. Lot 2 is approximately 20.6 acres of land with mains electricity. Lot 3 is the entire 61.6 acres with mains water and electricity, with an AMV of €600,000 (€9,700/acre).
