15-acre West Cork land parcel seeking €15k/acre already under offer

A small 15-acre land parcel in West Cork is new to the market but already under offer with Clonakilty-based auctioneers Hodnett Forde Property Services.
The holding in question is in the townland of Kilmoylerane, approximately 3km from Ballinascarthy village — famous as the ancestral birthplace of American motoring pioneer Henry Ford. The lands enjoy a mature setting with attractive views of the valley.
Small parcels such as this one can often sell quickly.
Given the fact that this particular property is for sale in lots (composed of 10 and five acres) and its proximity to the N71 (a couple of kilometres to the east), the interest is particularly keen and selling agent Andy Donoghue confirms that it is currently under offer.
“There’s a good bit of interest as it’s broken up into two easily managed blocks,” says Andy. “It’s very good ground, all in grass and with great road frontage and very accessible.
“The guide price is €15,000 per acre, which would reflect its current condition: there’s no waste on it at all. It is already under offer and it would be suitable for full-time farmers or part-time hobby farmers.”
