A variety of clients interested in brace of holdings in East Cork
The 25-acre farm for sale at Ballinwillin, Fermoy, Co. Cork.
A brace of land parcels in East Cork are currently on the market with Ballyhooly-based auctioneer Paul O’Driscoll.
The first is a 25-acre holding in the townland of Ballinwillin, near Bartlemy. It is 6km from Rathcormac and 15km from the M8.
The land has good road frontage and is in one block, including approximately 8.75 acres of disused quarry.
“There’s about seven acres of that which is under a Special Area of Conservation,” says Paul. “The rest of the land is in excellent condition.”
The second parcel is an 18.5-acre one in the townland of Glenagoul, 7km from Rathcormac and only 9km from the M8.

This has superb land and its very long road frontage makes it conducive to subdivision, with the choice of purchasing it in roughly equal-sized lots.
“We would consider selling that one in two lots,” says Paul. “It’s a beautiful piece of ground, with fabulous views from it.
“There’s great interest in both properties,” says Paul. “We’ve interest from local farmers and there’s outside interest too.”
Dairy farmers are naturally to the fore of interested buyers, as well as hobby farmers — particularly for the Glenagoul farm.
The 25-acre property at Ballinwillin is guiding at €350,000 (€14,000/acre) while the 18.5-acre piece of land at Glenagoul, Kildinan is guiding at €300,000 (€16,200/acre).
