€100 for every hectare planted in 2024

All Irish tillage farmers who manage to get seed in the soil in 2024 will be offered €100/ha to help them through the difficult start to the year.
Announcing the measure at the Fianna Fáil Ard Fheis in Dublin, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Charlie McConalogue said: “I want to help tillage farmers have the confidence to plant in 2024, so I am committing that I will find a mechanism to support any farmer that puts seed in the soil this year.
