A week-long trade mission aimed at boosting exports of Irish agri-food and fishery products to Asia began yesterday.

It will cover four countries — China, Singapore, Vietnam, and Korea — over eight days, with a total of more than 70 key engagements.

Agriculture, Food and Marine Minister Michael Creed departed for China and Singapore last night while Minister of State Andrew Doyle travelled to Vietnam on Saturday, before moving on to Korea.
