Beef market report: Beef prices showing a welcome recovery

Beef prices at the factories are continuing to edge upwards slowly as the decline in supply steadies again.

Producers are mounting more pressure on processors with a harder sell approach, before parting with their stock, and the factories are beginning to feel the necessity to work a bit harder on sourcing sufficient supplies.

The downward trend in Britain has also bottomed out and prices have been showing some recovery over the past week, which is also to be welcomed.
