A Corkman residing in Kerry has been selected as overall winner of the inaugural Agricultural Science Association Novus award.

Roy Geary, a senior executive with multinational animal health company Zoetis, is a native of Togher and lives in Ballymacelligott.

The award, sponsored by Kerry Group, recognises outstanding leadership among graduates working in the Irish agri-food sector.
