Carlow’s Susan Willis takes the Miss Macra crown

Susan Willis from Co Carlow was crowned International Miss Macra 2015 at the close of the International Miss Macra Festival which took place over the August bank holiday weekend.

Julie Muldowney from Kilkenny took second place, while Helen Hayes of North Tipperary Macra, was third.

The overall winners were announced at midnight last Sunday night at a gala banquet in Dundrum House Hotel, Co Tipperary.
