Monsanto cited among top French workplaces

Monsanto France has been recognised as one of the top 20 great places to work in France for the second year in a row. 

The company was awarded 20th place in the category ‘Companies with more than 500 employees’ in the annual Great Place to Work survey.

The Great Place to Work Institute France survey rankings are based on a combination of an assessment of employees’ responses to a survey about job satisfaction (two-thirds of the overall score) and an independent assessment of human resources management, company culture and well-being at work (one third of the score).

“We are extremely proud to receive this award for the third consecutive year and it is testament to the hard work and dedication of our 600 employees, combined with a culture of growth and personal development that Monsanto strives to foster at all times,” said Isabelle Zonca-Mérieux, HR director of Monsanto France.

Monsanto’s activities in France include research, development and production of seeds and products for agriculture. It has sites in 11 of France’s major farming regions. Several seed research stations work on breeding high quality seeds in maize, oilseed rape and vegetables.
