Bryan bid for Hogan seat

Ex-IFA president John Bryan may be in the running to fill the boots of “Big” Phil Hogan.

Bryan (61) said he would be interested in standing for Fine Gael in the Kilkenny/Carlow by-election resulting from Hogan’s appointment as European Commission.

The by-election is likely to take place in May.
