Feed industry training conference to focus on dairy and beef nutrition

Teagasc and the Irish Grain and Feed Association are to host a nutrition training conference for the animal feed industry at the Killeshin Hotel, Portlaoise, on June 27.

Deirdre Webb of the IGFA said the meeting will be an opportunity for nutritionists and technical sales representatives to get an update on the latest information on ruminant and monogastric nutrition as well as breeding technologies and heifer rearing.

The event will focus on dairy and beef nutrition, new concepts in feed ration calculation, and resilient dairy systems.
