Rule changes endorsed at the ICMSA AGM reduce the average age of the National Council, and provide a more uniform regional structure in the central executive. There was strong approval for the changes by the membership at the AGM at Limerick.

For the first time, a retiring age of 70 has been introduced for the National Council (to which members are elected, based on the strength of membership in each county).
