The event was attended by Minister of State for Agriculture Tom Hayes who said: “I welcome the commitment demonstrated by Zoetis to the Irish market through the establishment of this distribution facility, which has obtained full regulatory approval from my department.”

All Zoetis products sold in Ireland are licensed by the Irish Medicines Board or the European Medicines Agency, and distributed to vets, pharmacists, co-ops, and licensed merchants.

Zoetis general manager, Roy Geary, said: “Building on 60 years of experience, we continue delivering quality medicines, vaccines, support, and education, and are working every day to better understand and address the real world challenges faced by those who raise and care for animals in this country.”
