Quality land comes with its own glen

Glannafeen —the name trips off the tongue — and while there may not be many deer left, as the translation suggests, there is a glen and an 87-acre farm upon it.

The property is described as a coastal farm, by selling agent John Hodnett of Hodnett Forde, and he’s underselling it at that. This land has quite a bit of foreshore, although its steep nature means access to the sea would involve a dive, a terrace arrangement, or even, a bungee jump.

Consisting of 69 acres of excellent arable land, (which is also eligible for area aid), all of which is under pasture, the farm includes pockets of waste ground. The only building is a hayshed and lean-to and the farm is a non-residential sale.
