Celebration of local food
A Celebration of Local Food starts at 1.30pm with a lunch of local foods, interviews with food producers, a local food display, and entertainment by local musicians at 5pm.
Food producer speakers are Giana Ferguson of Gubbeen Cheese, Toby Simmonds of the Real Olive Co, Dickie Willems of Coolea Cheese and Conall Breheny of Breheny’s Bellish, Baile Bhúirne.
Organiser Julia Kemp said: “The day is designed to stimulate people’s confidence in local food, that you can buy local, and that it can be delicious.”
