Glanbia announce September milk prices
The total price, inclusive of a proposed co-op support, will be 30.51cent (VAT included). Glanbia chairman Liam Herlihy said, “The 1cpl market support from the Plc applies, as announced in July, together with the 1cpl support from Glanbia Co-Op, which is subject to shareholder approval. Whilst markets remain difficult, with a lot of ongoing risk, it is the intention of the Board to hold manufacturing milk price to the year end. ” Glanbia has agreed a liquid milk price from September of 41.03 cent (VAT inclusive) for September and October and 42.08 cent for November and December. These prices include the 1 cent price support from Glanbia Co-op, which the Board will propose be extended to liquid milk suppliers.
