Local wins big Clare horse award

THE two-year-old All Ireland filly championship at Kildysart Show in Co Clare last weekend was won by local exhibitor Dermot O’Sullivan, with a Big Sink Hope filly, out of Sansiero Belle.

The winning filly was bred by Gerard Kelly, Lislanahan, Kilkee, Co Clare.

The reserve rosette went to top northern exhibitor Desmond Gibson, Dromara, Co Down, with a filly by Ghareeb, out of Ballycapple Clover, bred by Sarah Fleming, Redcross, Co Wicklow.
