Roadside holding close to Mallow attracts lots of buyer interest
Sherry FitzGerald O’Donovan expect the land to achieve in excess €1.25 million.
The land, located past the golf club on the Killavullen Road, is divided almost in half by a by-road. The lands are mostly level and sound and have attracted a lot of interest to date, according to Michael O’Donovan of Sherry FitzGerald O’Donovan.
Up to 28 acres are in stubble and are in excellent heart. The remainder is in pasture, a small portion of which is described by the selling agents as heavy and in need of drainage.
The Killavullen Road has seen significant development in recent years with the College Wood development.
As a result, Ballymagooly has attracted developer interest as well as farming interest.
There have also been enquiries from those seeking to build in the countryside and keep horses, for example.
They could be attracted by the old single storey residence on the farm.
