Minister briefs farmers on Single Payments

THE closing date for receipt of applications under the 2007 Single Payment Scheme/Disadvantaged Areas Scheme is May 4.

Farmers can declare lands which they acquire up to April 30.

There may be changes regarding ineligibility of lands used for production of potatoes and fruit and vegetables for claiming the Single Payment.
