Prime 103 acre north Cork farm
Recognised as one of the better farms in the area, it had been expected to come for sale for some time, so interest had build up locally, they say. It may peak before the sell-by date, says Liam Murphy, who gives the residential holding a guide price of e2m.
Located just a mile from Kanturk town and in one block, the 103 acre farm is in a very good location and has some limited road frontage.
There is access to the main residence and yard on one side of the farm, and further access on the western side, which could allow the house and some of the land to be sold separately. The residence is a period farmhouse with stone outhouses and other buildings. It has three reception rooms, four bedrooms and a bathroom and is in good condition, say the agents.
“It’s a fine house with fantastic views over Kanturk town, and the land is exceptional quality. It was a dairy farm at one stage, and was also used for tillage, but most recently has been used for beef. It would also have been used for breeding and training horses many years ago,” says Liam Murphy.
