Biggest ever farmer co-op vote kicks off

The campaign is well under way in counties Kerry, Clare, Galway, Westmeath, Cork and Limerick for the election of more than 500 farmers to the advisory Board of Kerry Co-Op in a total of 94 Electoral Areas.

The election is the first since the takeover of Golden Vale and will include elections covering all of the Golden Vale South areas for the first time, with the securing of a seat on the advisory board the first step to the higher positions in the society’s structure and the Plc board.
