ANOTHER week, another record to add to Chelsea’s ever expanding list — most consecutive away wins in top flight football.

SO the equaliser was offside; and the same linesman called Kalou offside twice, wrongly, when he was through on goal; and we should have had a penalty.

I KNEW from the moment that I sent my copy to the editor last week, stating I expected us to win against Newcastle, that I had jinxed the game and ensured that three points would slip through our fingers.

I NEVER did like the Carling Cup anyway, it’s a Mickey Mouse competition; I’m glad we’re out, it means we can concentrate on the league — have I covered all the cliches yet?

WIN OR LOSE, the one constant watching Chelsea these last couple of weeks has been the torrential rain.

NOT a bad week — 100 League goals for Lampard, 1,000 Premier League goals surpassed for the club, 100 clean sheets for Cech, five goals against Sunderland, a hat-trick for Anelka, and back to the top of the table.

IT HAS to be said — I have had better weeks.

WHEN I was invited to a wedding in Colombia, the first thing I did was check the fixture list: There was no way I was missing out on a trip to Bogota, but any doubts I may have had were laid to rest when I saw that the game I would be missing was Boro away. Hmmm . . . South America or an industrial wasteland?

I HATE international breaks — I miss going to see the Blues, the pundits bore the pants off anyone remotely interested in football with the Lampard/Gerrard ‘dilemma’, and inevitably the England ‘support’ do something to sink even lower in my estimation. This last weekend was no exception.
