Promising Village looks poised to follow up at Cheltenham
Promising Village looks poised to follow up at Cheltenham
I’ll ride far more horses on the gallops this weekend than I will on the track, as I have just one mount, which comes today at Punchestown aboard Myles Ahead, trained by my father.

Rock Lobster looks a tasty dish
Rock Lobster looks a tasty dish
There is no jumps racing in Ireland this afternoon, but I will be in action in Far Hills, New Jersey, to ride Rawnaq for trainer Cyril Murphy, in the Grand National Hurdle.

Old Castletown looks well in ahead of Fairyhouse run
Old Castletown looks well in ahead of Fairyhouse run

The split between Willie Mullins and owners Gigginstown House Stud has been well documented, but, unfortunate as it is, it has happened and we must move on from it now.

Clondaw Warrior should be in shake-up for Galway Hurdle
Clondaw Warrior should be in shake-up for Galway Hurdle

As JT McNamara used to say, chalk it down to Road To Riches

Limini can put Aintree disappointment behind her
Limini can put Aintree disappointment behind her

Just the two rides for me again this afternoon, and Limini looks to have the better chance of the two. She was probably a bit disappointing at Aintree, but was too keen for her own good and got found out at the end of the race.

Vroum Vroum Mag looks up to the task at Punchestown
Ups and downs yesterday, but what more can I say about Douvan than he was spectacular. I don’t think I’ve ridden a novice like him, and can’t wait to see him take the next step, writes Ruby Walsh

Vedettariat one to note at a big price
Vedettariat one to note at a big price
Day three of the Punchestown festival, and it has to be said that the conditions at the track over the first couple of days were a credit to the staff at the course. There was a great covering of grass, and it was like a carpet for both days’ racing - it was in unbelievable condition.

Bellshill to go one better
Bellshill to go one better
Not the return I had hoped for, yesterday at Punchestown, but we can look forward to this afternoon and hope for better luck.
